1st International VIBRAC Conference

The 1st International VIBRAC Conference will take place in Lahti, Finland, in October 2016.
Vibroacoustic Therapy has been a quickly developing field of practice and research, and the presentations, workshops and exhibitions will be reflective of the Multidisciplinary Applications of Vibroacoustic Therapy.
The location is an ideal platform for presentations, workshops, and generating discussions and collaboration possibilities. The conference has been much anticipated as the field of vibroacoustics is relatively young, despite the large amount of case studies and experiences reported by practitioners. This anticipation is heightened by the announcement of the keynote speakers, who have been seminal in the development of vibroacoustics for target groups such as those suffering from depression, stroke, and Parkinson’s disease among others and neurological disabilities. The keynote speakers for this event are Dr. Heidi Ahonen, from Wilfred Laurier University in Canada, Dr. Ana Katusic, from the Mali Dom Centre for Rehabilitation in Croatia, Dr. Lee Bartel, from the University of Toronto, Canada, and Dr. Esa Ala-Ruona, from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
